What are the cancellation conditions?
- Summer:
Up to 10 days before arrival = free of charge
10 to 3 days before arrival = 70% cancellation fee for the booked stay
From 3 days before arrival or early departure = 90% cancellation fee for the booked stay
Cancellation costs will be charged without exception, therefore we recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. You can find more information under Europäische Reiseversicherung.
- Winter:
Up to 6 weeks before arrival = free of charge
6 weeks to 2 weeks before arrival = 70% cancellation fee for the booked stay
From 2 weeks before arrival or in the event of early departure = 90% cancellation fee for the booked stay

When is check-in or check-out?
- Arrival: Your room is ready for occupancy from 15:00. Arrival is of course also possible earlier. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us at the reception.
- Departure: We ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 am. Depending on the availability of the room, you are welcome to use it longer on the day of departure for an additional charge. Please ask at the reception the day before departure. Alternatively, your luggage can be left at the reception on the day of departure.
How is the room paid for (in advance or on site)?
You have to pay a deposit of 30% of the price in advance, the remaining amount can be paid on spot until the day of departure in cash, with EC/Bankomat card, with VISA, Mastercard, American Express or Diners Card. We ask for your understanding that it is not possible to pay the invoice by bank transfer on the day of departure.
What parking facilities are available?
We recommend parking in our underground garage right next to our hotel.
- Summer: € 15,00 per car and day
- Winter: € 25,00 per car and day
Public parking is very limited and the space in front of our hotel is only for arrival and departure.
Are there e-charging stations for electric cars?
Yes, our hotel has several charging stations for electric cars. We charge € 0.75 per KWh.
How far is the nearest ski lift from the hotel?
Right next to the Hotel Alpine Palace is the valley station of the D1 Reiterkogelbahn (gondola cable car). In winter and summer you will be transported here to the mountain station at 1,480 m. Tickets are available at the lift ticket office. Bike transport in summer. Skiing in winter and your direct access to the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn.
Likewise, the ski slope passes right next to the house. So you can take the motto "Ski in - Ski out!" literally.

Where is the next toboggan run?
The nearest toboggan run is nearby: the toboggan run on the Reiterkogel runs directly above our house. With the D1 Reiterkogelbahn you first go up the mountain, then down the 3.2 km long toboggan run back down into the valley.
Where is the nearest train station/airport and do you offer a train station transfer or airport transfer?
The nearest train station is in Zell am See. The cost for a transfer is about Euro 95,00 per way. The nearest airport is in Salzburg (90km). The transfer costs Euro 245,00 one way. Alternatively we offer transfers to Munich airport (220km) at a cost of Euro 500,00 one way or Innsbruck airport (160km) at a cost of Euro 420,00 one way. Other transfers are available on request.
Are drinks all inclusive?
No, drinks are not included in the price.
Are allergies and intolerances taken into account? Do I get extra dishes?
Yes, we are happy to take care of allergies or intolerances. Please let us know your allergies or intolerances before arrival so that we can organize the appropriate food if necessary.
Are dogs allowed?
Summer:
Your four-legged friend is very welcome. One dog per booking and room is free of charge, each additional dog will be charged Euro 35,00 per day without food. Please understand that out of consideration for our other guests, your dog is not allowed in the wellness area, as well as in our restaurants.

Is there air conditioning in the room?
No, but the rooms can be kept very cool due to the blackout curtains.
Is there a kettle in the rooms?
Please let us know in advance if you need a kettle. We will be happy to provide you with one free of charge.
Is bedding for allergy sufferers available?
Yes, all rooms at the Alpine Palace are already equipped with bed linen for allergy sufferers.
Is there a bicycle cellar?
Yes, a lockable room is available. However, we recommend that you bring your own bicycle lock.
Are baby carriages or back carriers for hiking available on site?
No, unfortunately we do not have these available for rental.
When are children allowed to join the Kinderklub and when is childcare available? For whom?
In the main holiday season Mondays to Fridays for all children from the age of 4 (children must be diaper-free).
Is there a babysitter?
We are happy to organize a babysitter. This costs up from € 25,00 per hour. Please understand that we can only organize and confirm a babysitter at short notice.
Is a baby monitor available?
You are welcome to use our in-house babyphone system free of charge. All you have to do is register at the reception and leave your mobile number before activating it.
When are the sauna and swimming pool open?
Our sauna area is open from 15:00 to 21:00, our indoor and outdoor pool from 7:00 to 22:00.
Is the outdoor pool also heated in winter?
Yes, you are welcome to use our outdoor pool also in winter. The temperature is about 32°C.
Do I need snow chains in winter?
No, normally good winter tires are sufficient. Our country roads are cleared very regularly and properly. However, please inform yourself in advance about the current weather conditions.
Should I pre-book appointments for massages and beauty treatments?

Is there a fitness room?
Yes, our fitness room is available to our guests free of charge daily from 8:00 to 22:00. It is equipped with various TechnoGym machines for strength and endurance training.

Is it possible to do laundry in the hotel?
You are welcome to use our laundry service. A current price list is available in your room.
Are there any protective measures against COVID in the hotel?
Your safety & your health are our top priority! We have a COVID prevention concept and our own COVID protection officer. Are there any restrictions due to COVID measures?
We try to reconcile health protection as well as prevention measures and our service offer for the well-being of our guests in the best possible way. Due to the spatial design, the gourmet restaurant Arte Vinum will remain closed during the summer and until further notice. In the sauna and spa area, the distance rules prescribed at the time of your stay apply. The offer of body-related services in the area of cosmetics and massage is limited in the summer and until further notice. Where can you jog?
In the direction of Saalbach there is a beautiful hiking trail, as well as in the direction of the end of the valley, where you can run wonderfully.
How far is the nearest ski lift?
The Reiterkogel lift is right next to our hotel.
Are there cross-country skiing trails?
Yes, directly in Hinterglemm there is a high-altitude trail on the Reiterkogel and a trail in the valley head (5km from the hotel).
Is there a ski cellar?
Yes, we have a ski cellar, where each room has its own lockable ski pin. The ski boot holders are of course heated.
Where can I rent ski equipment and how can I get ski passes?
We recommend the ski rental Snow&Fun, which is located only a few meters from the hotel, directly below the Reiterkogel lift. You are welcome to buy ski passes directly from us at the reception.
Where can I book a ski school or private ski instructor?
For this we also recommend our partner Snow&Fun. You can easily book the courses there online in advance.
Where is the meeting point for the ski courses?
The meeting point is right next to the Schwarzacher lift, about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. For the children's ski school there is a ski school train that picks up the children directly in front of the hotel and also takes them back. Please ask at the reception for the exact departure time!
Is it possible to drink the water from the tap?
Yes! You can drink the water in the Alpine Palace. It has the best drinking water quality.
